FEMART 4th Edition

International Women Artists and Activists Festival

The fourth edition of FemArt Festival that was was held from 25 to 30th May in Pristina, offered a whole week of activities in different places, like: Oda Theater, Faculty of Arts, National Library and National Theatre of Kosovo.

The program of the festival included various topics such as: Violence against Women in general, and Sexual Violence during war in particualr, Transitional justice in the Balkans,
Women empowerment, issues concerning LGBT community, Sexual and Reproductive Health and Rights, Activism with a special focus in youth, international and regional exchange success stories.

The program of the festival included various topics such as: Violence against Women in general, and Sexual Violence during war in particualr, Transitional justice in the Balkans, Women empowerment, issues concerning LGBT community, Sexual and Reproductive Health and Rights, Activism with a special focus in youth, international and regional exchange success stories. All the work presented addressed issues related to social welfare and human rights.

During all the six days that the festival lasted, the whole program was accessible to all the community groups and was free of charge for all the interested audience members.
During six days of the festival, more than 100 artists and activists (women and man) from different countries were involved through their activities and projects, as well as volunteers from Kosovo’s communities
